Retailwire hosts a discussion forum for the Consumer Products Industry.  One of the discussions was about Publix Supermarkets, the very exceptional food retailer headquartered in Florida.

This Florida based retailer is among the top three retailers operating  in the Supermarket Industry.  Their reputation among their customers is exceptional.  They praised for How they do... what they do.  That acclaim goes well beyond their industry itself and they are recognized for their Service Excellence widely and consistently.

Fortune Magazine each year validates America's best performing companies in two issues; Fortune's Most Admired Companies in America and The Best Places to Work in America. Publix is a repeat honoree in both issues. They share common characteristics with many of their peer companies with like recognition:
