Tesco turns in to the art of Twitter

Thye Telegraph in the UK reports that Fresh & Easy, Tesco's UC based Convenience Store chain is using Twitter to communicate with their customers, inform them of new store openings and new offers.  Read Full Article  With over 100 stores operating in California, Arizona and Nevada Twitter is a means they will use to communicate with their customers.  Fresh & Easy does not advertise in the traditional supermarket manner, so choosing this very new communications approach circumvents that.  The article points out that Fresh & Easy has 915 followers on Twitter.  Strabuch's only has 30,591.
