Nick D’Agostino Jr.

Chairman of the Board and CEO of D’Agostino Supermarkets, Inc.

Nicholas D’Agostino, Jr. serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO of D’Agostino Supermarkets, Inc. and began working for D’Agostino Supermarkets in 1960 after graduating from Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science degree in English.  Over the years, he held virtually every job that exists in a modern supermarket operation – from Cashier to Department Manager, Store Manager, Dairy and Frozen Food Buyer, District Manager and Director and Vice President of Store Operations.  Mr. D’Agostino assumed the Presidency of the company in 1978 and became Chief Executive Officer in 1982. He was elected Chairman in September 1986 by the Board of Directors of D’Agostino Supermarkets, Inc.

Mr. D’Agostino takes an active role in food industry affairs at the local, state and national levels.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Marketing Institute in Washington, D.C. and is also active in the National Grocers Association and the Food Industry Alliance of New York State.

Mr. D’Agostino is a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Comprehensive Health Practice, Inc., and serves on the Board of Directors of the Catholic Medical Mission Board, Inc.

Nicholas, and his wife, Eileen, are residents of Point Lookout, New York and Kiawah Island, South Carolina.    They have five children and fourteen grandchildren.
